Wonderful relaxation in the peaceful area of the park, catching some fresh air at Lake IJssel and enjoy everything Medemblik has to offer. Still, our bustling capital is not far from the park and offers a great opportunity to include a day visit to Amsterdam to your vacation.

Visit one of the many museums, including the completely renovated Rijksmuseum, the house of Anne Frank or the Van Gogh museum. Go on a boat ride through the Amsterdam canals and admire the beautiful canal houses ('grachtenpanden') that Amsterdam is famous for! Did you know that the Amsterdam canal rings are listed on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites?

There's so much to see and do that it's impossible to list it all. This means that a day in Amsterdam is always worthwhile, for visitors of all ages.

Parking too expensive? Not at one of the P+R parking sites! You can park your car for less than € 10 and your entire family or company will be at the destination, the heart of Amsterdam, within minutes.

P+R Sloterdijk is the closest P+R near Bungalow Park Zuiderzee, and can be reached in 30 minutes by car. When arriving after 10:00, you'll only be charged € 1 to park your car for up to 24 hours. Next, you'll buy tickets to travel to and from the center at one of the GVB counters.
